Archductor is in active development. This page is the honest list of what is still rough, so you can decide whether it fits your workflow today.

Known limits

  • Terminal rendering is not a full terminal emulator. Programs that expect one may render incorrectly.
  • Visual parity with macOS Conductor is incomplete.
  • Project settings and onboarding still need polish.
  • Advanced prompt packs, hooks, theme, and layout customization are not fully surfaced in the GUI; some of it is config-file only.
  • Linux is the validated target. Windows is preview. macOS is not a launch target.
  • Flatpak packaging is experimental pending Flathub review.

Verify before you install

Public release artifacts ship with SHA256SUMS.
If the GitHub release includes provenance or attestations, verify those before trusting the artifact.
